Calling Volunteers - Southern Region Student Conference

The 36th Annual Southern Region Student Conference will be in Atlanta, GA on September 24-26, 2015

Volunteers like you help make it a success!!

Volunteering at the conference generates funds for the Charlotte Chapter.

Double occupancy rooms will be provided for volunteers that are members of record for NABA Charlotte. Also, volunteers will also be reimbursed the nonprofit gas mileage rate.

Volunteer Opportunities & Sign Up!

 NABA Southern Region is also looking for pre-conference volunteers to review student resumes prior to the conference. If you are interested, please click the link below for more details!  

If you would like to volunteer onsite please see below for the different committees and sign up online today!
Registration Committee: Volunteers can sign-up for various areas including Greeter, Student  & Corporate Partner Check-in 


Interview Scheduling Committee: various areas including; On-site Resume Review, Mock Interview Prep, and Interview Check-in.


Programming Committee: Volunteers can sign-up for various areas including, Student Opening Session, Student Educational Sessions, Scholarship Luncheon, and Student Party- Play Date.


Corporate Library Committee: Volunteers will maintain the corporate library area, as well as be a resource to students as they research companies in preparation for the expo and interviews.


Hospitality Committee: Volunteers will assist in the setup of the hospitality suite; as well as, hosting both professional members and corporate partners.


Volunteer Committee: Volunteers will greet and check-in/ check-out professional members who are volunteering in other areas of the conference.


- To encourage student involvement in NABA and to assist in the development of leadership skills.
- To provide an opportunity for students and professionals to share their goals and objectives.
- To augment students' skills and expand their knowledge through challenging seminars and motivational keynote speakers.
- To provide a forum to discuss student issues and to present positive alternative resolutions.
- To provide opportunities for students to develop and exhibit their organizational and planning skills.
- To facilitate maximum attendance and participation by students and professionals.
- To provide a cost-effective method for corporations to interview qualified minority students.
- To provide an opportunity for students to interview for entry-level positions and internships.
- To provide a showcase where high achieving students are rewarded scholarships.
