About the Speaker


A native of Georgetown, South Carolina, Kelly has a passion for educating his clients about their personal finances & building wealth. His practice works with successful high net worth families, career transitioning professionals, business owners, & retirees. Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for helping client ‘s achieve the lifestyle they deserve. His practice specializes in private banking and financing, retirement income planning, investment management, and tax-control strategies.


Kelly graduated from South Carolina State University with Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.  Kelly is an active member of The Harvey Gantt Center, The Arts & Science Council of Charlotte, former board member of Olympic High Academy of Finance, and a volunteer for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Kelly’s FINRA licensed series 7, 6, 63, 66 and is a N.C. Life & Health insurance agent. During his free time Kelly enjoys cheering on his NY Giants, spending time with family, and traveling. Kelly is a resident of Charlotte’s - Mallard Creek Area.



Ray joined the financial services industry as Assistant Vice President Merchant Specialist with Bank of America in 2009 and later joined Merrill Lynch in 2014. He has dedicated himself to thoroughly understanding the priorities of high-net-worth individuals and families, providing them with personalized attention and disciplined, customized investment strategies.

Ray uses his access to the investment resources of Merrill Lynch and banking convenience of Bank of America to help address the various aspects of clients’ financial lives. He works with clients to help identify their primary goals —including education funding, tax minimization strategies, retirement assets and services—and then commits himself to crafting strategies designed to help clients pursue desired outcomes, while building, managing and preserving their wealth for current and future generations. He is also a firm believer in paying close attention to both sides of a client’s balance sheet, which is why he offers access to a Wealth Management Banker from Bank of America, N.A., who can draw upon an expansive array of cash management, credit and other lending solutions designed to fit into overall investment strategies. He works hard to gain clients’ trust and is committed to helping optimize their resources so they can make the most of what they have.

Ray is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an M.B.A. degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Ray currently serves on the boards of Pathways to Success and his high school alma mater Garinger Senior High.  He is an avid runner and participates in Habitat for Humanity, Susan Komen and the Boy and Girl Scouts of America.
