2017 Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP)

 

ACAP is a program for high school students to learn more about accounting and business careers.  The ACAP program will be held on the campus of UNC-Charlotte June 18th thru June 23rd (Sunday to Friday). We are in need of Professional and Student Members to volunteer and help with preparing our high school students for success.   

The following time slots are available:

Sunday, June 18th 5pm–6:30pm – Check-in (5 slots available):  NABA mentors will assist students with checking into camp and finding their dorm room.

Monday, June 19th 4pm–5:15pm – College Student Panel: (6 slots available): NABA Student Members or previous ACAP participants that are currently enrolled in college will share their experiences as college students.

Friday, June 23rd 9am–11:00am – Presentation Rehearsals (4 slots available): NABA mentors will assist students with their presentation skills, providing helpful critiques.

Friday, June 23rd 11am-12pm – Check-out (4 slots available): NABA Mentors will assist students with checking out of camp judge students presentations of the presentation.

Friday, June 23rd 2pm-4pm – Presentation Judges (4 slots available):  NABA mentors will judge students presentations of the presentation.
